Therefore go...

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Our Mission

At The Church at Meeker, we believe following Matthew 28:18-20 is the critical to fulfilling our mission of making disciples, baptizing them, and teaching biblical truths and doctrines.

We are committed to promoting evangelism both locally and globally, and we strive to help our members grow spiritually through the Gospel.

Our church is built on a foundation of love and prayer, and we are always ready to offer aid to those in sickness and distress. We believe that cultivating Christian sympathy and courtesy is essential to building a strong and supportive church community, and we are dedicated to living out these values in our daily lives.

Roots Run Deep

To be rooted in God's Word is to have a deep unshakable foundation in the teachings and principles of the Bible. This involves not only reading and studying scripture, but also meditating on it and allowing it to permeate every aspect of our lives. By so, we can gain a understanding of God's will for us and the world, and can be better equipped to navigate the challenges and trials that we may face.

As Christians we believe that the Word God is a source of comfort, and guidance, and that by staying rooted in it, we can grow in our faith and become more like Christ, who is the ultimate example of what it means to live a life that is rooted in God's Word.

Being rooted in the Word of God helps us fulfill the Great Commission by spreading the gospel and making disciples of all nations. Share our faith and help others grow in theirs by allowing God's Word to guide us as Christians.

Christ Centered

Learning to be Christ Centered is not just something we teach, it's living a life that is wholly focused on the teachings of Jesus Christ and the message of saving faith in Him. It means living a life that reflects the love, grace and mercy of God, and sharing that message with others. It means that our priorities are aligned with the things God, and that we seek to live a life that is pleasing to Him in all aspects of life. It is a way of life that is centered in the belief that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life, and that only through Him, we can have eternal life.

The Bible makes it clear that those who believe the gospel will live it out. True faith produces visible actions from a transformed heart. At The Church at Meeker, we support each other in becoming more like Jesus Christ, whether by encouraging God-honoring responses to suffering or helping to turn away from sin and rebellion. We achieve this through the Holy Spirit, the support of godly believers, Bible teaching, and prayer ministry.

The Plan is simple. The Gift is free.

Simply stated, we have sinned. All of us. (Romans 3:10 & 3:23, 1 John 1:8) This sin is contrary to the Word of God and rebellious towards God. It separates us from His love. God is Holy and Just and cannot leave this sin unpunished. Death and eternal separation from God is the price to be paid for this sin. (Romans 6:23, Revelation 20:11-15)

This sinful nature and its consequences makes us completely unable to save ourselves, only God can save us. To accomplish this incredible feat, God came to this earth in human form in the Person of Jesus Christ (John 1:1 & 14). Jesus lived a life free from sin (2 Corinthians 5:21Hebrews 4:151 John 3:5) and offered Himself as a perfect sacrifice in our place (1 Corinthians 15:3Colossians 1:22Hebrews 10:10). The death of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary fully paid for the sins of the entire world (1 John 2:2). His resurrection three days later proved that His sacrifice was sufficient and opend the door to His salvation.
